Intersection of West Bay and Main Road Closed
Intersection Closed Wednesday, 5/27, 6 - 8 pm
On May 27th, the intersection of Main Road and West Bay Road will be closed to regular traffic, allowing emergency traffic only. Islesboro Public Safety will be conducting a scheduled training exercise in that area. The closure will be in effect from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Maine Artist, Ruth Gorton, takes inspiration for much of her artwork from the surrounding coastal landscapes and IIT is thrilled to take part in Ruth’s Paintings Donated for Fundraising Program! As a part of our ongoing fundraising campaign for the Miller Center for Environmental Education, IIT will be hosting a Memorial Day Weekend Art Show, displaying an array of twenty Ruth Gorton paintings for sale at the new IIT Barn.
Join us from 4-6pm, on Saturday, May 23rd to enjoy art, food, drink and tours of the in-progress Miller Center!
